CIRD workshop on “External Conditions and Most Urgent Reforms after the 18th National Congress of CPC” held in Beijing

On 5 January 2012, a workshop on the theme of “External Conditions and Most Urgent Reforms after the 18th National Congress of CPC” was organized by CIRD in Beijing. Wei Liqun, Executive Vice President of Chinese Academy of Governance, Hong Hu, Vice Chairman of the Legislative Committee of National People's Congress, Gao Shangquan, Honorary Chairman of China Society for Economic Reform and Chairman of CIRD Board of Directors, Song Xiaowu, Chairman of China Society for Economic Reform, more than 10 leaders and experts from the Department of Economic System Reform of National Development and Reform Commission, State Commission Office for Public Sector Reform, Ministry of Agriculture and Development Research Center of the State Council, as well as experts and scholars from National Academy of Governance and Tsinghua University, attended the workshop. The workshop was chaired by Prof. Chi Fulin, president of CIRD. The participating experts had in-depth discussions on the general situation and how to achieve new breakthroughs of the next round of reforms, including in prioritized fields and critical sectors.
